maybe this
SOUNDS LIKE YOU?
YOU'RE COMMITTED BUT INCONSISTENT
You're the queen of the start and stop. You set big goals, go hard, and then fall off the wagon. Then you start to spiral about why you can't seem to keep the momentum going. Self-blame sets in.
YOU'RE TRAINING EVERYTHING AT ONCE
Lyra, pole, weights, flexibility... you believe if you could just train more, you'd be closer to some of your aerial dreams, but you're already training a lot and there are no more hours in a day.
YOU FEEL STUCK WITH SOME FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS
You've been training some skills for years and it feels like you're not making much progress despite a ton of effort. You're not sure if it's your technique or if you have some mobility or strength gaps.
YOUR BODY DOTH PROTEST TOO MUCH
You have a right shoulder niggle and a low back that sometimes just seizes up for no reason. You get injured in your sleep. You can't turn your head all the way to the right and your right high hamstring hates splits.
YOU'RE TIRED OF SPINNING YOUR WHEELS
You second guess your approach to training all the time and you want someone to tell you what to do and when. Maybe you secretly believe you could figure it out yourself, but you recognize that it would be a million times easier to get help.
⇢ GET CONSISTENT. GET CONFIDENT. GET MAJOR SKILLS. ⇠
imagine if
YOU WERE CONFIDENT THAT...
YOUR BODY WOULD BE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING YOU THREW AT IT
Imagine if your strength training, mobility, and prehab were so dialed in that you felt capable of trying just about anything new in the air. Imagine if the days of wobbly shoulders and cranky hips were a thing of the past.
YOUR TRAINING WAS THE BEST POSSIBLE USE OF YOUR TIME
Imagine if you spent your limited time on the drills that would have the biggest impact on the skills you're going after—instead of doing a bunch of random exercises from IG or cookie-cutter programs. Imagine if suddenly you had more time to create new acts and freestyle with your friends.
YOU HAD A SOLID TECHNICAL FOUNDATION THAT WOULD SUPPORT YOUR GROWTH
Imagine if you knew that you wouldn't have to go back and re-learn things because you had gaps in your technique. Imagine if you could show up at workshops or on traincations ready to learn instead of worrying if you're good enough.
⇢ IF THE BASICS WERE SO BASIC, EVERYONE WOULD BE DOING THEM. ⇠
“I love that [The Conclave is] so comprehensive & looks at your training schedule as a whole, not just flexibility or conditioning, & also takes into account work, family, & other commitments. I honestly was feeling overwhelmed before [it] trying to fit in all the things!”

YOU CAN EXPECT
NEW AND IMPROVED SKILLS
Aerial, pole, contortion, handstands... pick what you are excited to work on and I'll craft the plan to get you there.
INCREASED STRENGTH & STABILITY
It's not a matter of IF you will get stronger but only a matter of HOW MUCH. And hypermobiles will develop more stability to support their goals.
INCREASED MOBILITY
Each plan also includes mobility work to support your goals. Whether you care about how your splits look, or simply want a more comfortable hang, flexibility training supports a range of goals.
MORE EFFICIENCY & CONTROL
There is no one perfect technique, only a technique that is more efficient for your body. I'll help you find and exploit those efficiencies to move more easily and fluidly.
MORE UNDERSTANDING OF HOW YOUR BODY WORKS
You'll come away from The Conclave with a blueprint for what makes your body happy and how to train for longevity. That is some priceless shit.

“I don’t know of another program that is individually designed with opportunities for almost daily feedback, and weekly adjustments, that targets specific goals. That is the coolest part. I learned a bit how to break a skill into component parts, which will serve me in my training, but I also expect I’ll find myself joining the Conclave again for the unique programming, and the skill [Jessica has] in doing that for people.”
⸺HEATHER GRIFFIN (Silks: wheeldown, single-arm hang)
Onboarding
We'll begin with a group kickoff call to go through the goal setting and assessment process. Then you'll draft your goals, take some baseline mobility photos, and video yourself doing some aerial or pole movements. While I am writing your program, you'll get introductory workouts to learn how to perform some of the foundational movements in your program.
Step One
Delivery
You'll receive your custom program and schedule your one-on-one session to go over exercises and get some form checks. You'll continue each week, self-regulating your intensity based on set guidelines, filming and videoing key exercises, and getting regular feedback. Exercises are subbed out if they're not working or progressed if you need a greater challenge. After 5 weeks, you take a breather for what we call "Sleep Week." Then you return to an updated program with added intensity for the final 5 weeks.
Step Two
Wrapping Up
You don't have to say goodbye just yet! If you decide you want to continue on in The Conclave, you'll move into a new training cycle with similar or new goals. If you decide to go, you'll leave with a text file of your program and all the feedback you received, plus the confidence that comes from knowing that you can slay a program like this.

DOES THE CONCLAVE COST?
The Conclave is the only way to get 1-on-1 coaching from me and the cost reflects the level of customization, access to me, and experience I have as a coach.
Most 3-month programs like this in the fitness space cost between $1500 and $1700. If I were to charge by my typical hourly rate for a custom training program, daily form checks, weekly program updates, the private session, the mobility & skill/strength evaluations, plus access to the membership, the same program would cost $7000+. That's how much value you're getting in this program.

Jess finally started enjoying mobility work & understanding how to work with her body
"The Conclave is worth every penny—one of the best investments I've ever made in my practice to bring consistency and direction to my own training. As a coach myself, I'd always found myself focused more on my students so it was hard to make time to organize my own training, identify my own needs—and impossible to hold space for my own goals. Having an experienced, inquisitive, deeply knowledgable coach like Jessica assess your goals and help identify what is holding you back from achieving them is MAGIC. The program is super flexible and works around your other commitments and energy levels and the feedback is super generous and nuanced."
JESS ALLEN
ROPE: SCORPION HANDSTAND, SINGLE COIL ROLLUP, J-FLIP
Steph got consistent handstands holds
"If you struggle with finding the right drills for YOUR body, and/or don’t have success doing them regularly enough to make real progress, this is the answer. In your program, it might seem like day to day you aren’t making gains, but then weeks later, the magic shows up. This takes real focus, desire, and determination but the results are 100% worth it. I could not have made half of the improvement I made in the same time frame, trying this on my own."
STEPH HUGHES
FREESTANDING HANDSTAND, FOREARM BRIDGE
Tamara made major backbend & split gains
"Just do it. Goals/progress take work to achieve, and through a well structured, organized, and curated program like the Conclave you will see your goals come to life. Your progress may not be overnight but you will find things getting easier, your body getting strong or more flexible at a safe and realistic pace. As aerialist we spend tons of money on stuff (rigs, new apparatuses, Swedish ladders, etc.) Why not invest money in your body and its overall health and well being too?"

I USED TO STRUGGLE WITH AERIAL OVERWHELM. 🥴
Before I started aerial, I found it difficult to be consistent with training in the gym. I was a ranked junior tennis player and a team precision dancer, so I was accustomed to showing up and being told what to do. But after college, it was challenging for me to motivate myself for a 5am grind on the treadmill in the dark before work. That was never going to be my jam.
So when I found aerial, I was quick out of the gate. It's like I finally found the one thing that made sense to my body and I went all in. The more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. Motivation was the easy part. Reigning myself in was hard.
I was all over the place in my training. I took silks and trapeze and handstands and cyr and.... you get the picture. I was doing random wrist warmups waiting for my coffee and stretching my splits watching TV in the evening.
I had a problem. It wasn't that I was multi-passionate. It wasn't that I was multi-disciplinary. It wasn't that I was doing movement snacks before I knew what movement snacks were. It might have been that I was spending too much time commuting between pole and aerial studios. It definitely was that I wasn't consistent enough in my training to get really good at any one thing.
And I wanted to get really good at rope.
YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT I DID. 💣
So I stopped taking classes and started training on my own. (Bet you didn't see that coming.)
Classes were great! But I was training the skills that my coaches wanted to teach on their timeline, not my own. And I lived somewhere without a single rope class, but that's what I wanted to be an absolute beast at. (I saw an Allie Cooper video and I was IN.)
How was I going to have time and energy for rope if I spent it all on other apparatuses? I knew what I needed was some focus.
THINGS STARTED TO CLICK. ✨
I started showing up to open gym, working on the few rope skills that I had learned on traincations. I worked on getting strong and mobile, because even if I didn't understand certain techniques yet, I knew that having more control over my body would serve me for any skill. I broke skills down into their component parts and drilled foundational technique... so I could slowly began layering complexity on top.
Suddenly, people in open gym were asking me who I learned rope from, and if I wanted to teach them too. That's how I started teaching.
BUT THEN THE STRANGEST THING HAPPENED. 😳
I was so excited to teach and even more excited to teach rope! But that excitement quickly turned to frustration when I realized that couldn't teach my students in a class setting the way that I knew would get them where they said they wanted to go.
I could teach them the technique, but we weren't going to be able to build the strength and mobility for their dream skills in one weekly 90-minute class. They needed more. They needed a comprehensive plan.
SO I CREATED THIS PROGRAM TO BRIDGE THAT GAP. 💕
I created The Conclave with the experienced aerialist or pole dancer in mind... the one who has a list of skills to achieve a mile long and saved folders on IG filled with all of their favorite moves, but has yet to figure out how to get them on their own.
I believe that training for skill acquisition doesn't have to be boring and doesn't mean you have to neglect other aspects of your training.
And I think that aerialists and pole dancers should get the same attention to detail and support in their training as any other high-level athlete (whether or not they identify as an athlete).
Perhaps you aren't training how you want to be or how you used to be, and you're ready to hand over the reins to a pro.
Perhaps you are tired of spending money on open gyms just to spend it fucking around on your phone.
Perhaps you are ready to stop feeling guilt or shame for prioritizing your own needs and making training your non-negotiable.
That's why I created The Conclave.
YOU TOO ARE MADE FOR THIS JOURNEY.
I've been coaching circus now for over a decade. And I have struggled at times to balance my technical training, my artistic pursuits as a performer and a director, and my career. Y'all, what are we doing? It's a lot. 🤣
