Here's how the SNACK Challenge Works:
- The name of the game is consistency! The goal is to challenge ourselves by completing short, but effective awareness-building workouts designed specifically for aerialists and pole dancers who have big goals for the fall. These workouts are challenging despite their length, but not in the huffing and puffing way, but in how much concentration they take to complete.
- This is an INSTAGRAM Challenge! So yes, you need to be on Insta. You will "check in" each day via Instagram, using a photo (it can be a training pic, a quote, shot of the studio, you and your aerial or pole wife, your equipment, an inspirational meme, whatever you'd like). YOU WILL HASHTAG ALL POSTS using “#IAMASNACK” and also the DAY of the challenge the post is for. For example, I could post a selfie and my description might be "Just finished up the best warmup with @circusmobility! #IAMASNACK #DAY3" These must be POSTS so that I can search for and keep track of your submissions.
- In order to complete the challenge, you must complete all 5 workouts over the 5 days. Yes, a perfect score! That’s why this is a “challenge.” Don't worry. All of the workouts are all less than 15 minutes in length, and as the goal is consistency, I want you to do what you need to to get them in! Join hundreds of others taking part in this momentum-building challenge.
- The workouts might not seem intense but they are brain intensive! If you glance at them and think they look easy, I challenge you to go after them with 100% focus and to SLOW DOWN so that you learn something new about your body over the 5 days.
- I'll provide the exact workouts via email. On Monday September 2nd, you'll receive your first SNACK workout. They'll all be 15 minutes or less. You can do the workouts at home. No aerial equipment or poles required. You'll only need some dumbbells, a pilates ball/pillow, resistance bands, yoga blocks, a broomstick, and a peanut or a tennis/lacrosse ball.

After 15+ years in this industry, I see that so many aerialists and pole dancers with the best of intentions struggle with consistency and accountability. The SNACK Challenge was born out of the desire to gain momentum going into the fall and do it with an amazing hup squad cheering you on.
