Central Oregon Aerial Arts is a facility with 7 points and 3 pulley points. The highest point is 24 feet and the lowest point is 16 feet. There are accordion mats, crash mats, and foam mats ranging from 3-12 inches thick.

You are encouraged to bring your own apparatus, but if you would prefer not to travel with one, please let me know ahead of time and it will be provided!

The apparatuses available include:

• ropes (Leo smooth & rough)
• fabrics (low & medium stretch)
• straps (circus concepts)
• hoops (solid untaped with various ropes, hollow taped)
• dance trapezes (weighted, unweighted, ropes, covered, taped, untaped)

It's high desert! The average temperature in Bend in August for a typical day ranges from a high of 82°F (28°C) to a low of 51°F (11°C).

In August, there's a 9% chance of rain on an average day, which makes for some good star gazing.

Peak wildfire season typically occurs during the hot, dry summer months of July, August, and September. Wildfires in Oregon, neighboring states, and Canada can cause smoke to settle over Central Oregon, significantly impacting air quality. Smoke can shift with changes in wind direction, causing air quality to deteriorate quickly or improve just as fast. Smoke events can also linger for days, depending on the size and intensity of the fire, as well as weather patterns. Because of this, check with Oregon’s Air Quality Index for real-time info across the state.

The average day in Bend during August has 14 hours of daylight, with sunrise at 6AM and sunset at 8PM. The timing of training sessions will keep in mind available daylight so you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
